The new reroute of the Tomahawk Trail was completed on Wednesday, November 30th. This new trail will be on high ground and can be used year round by snowmobiles and ATV's. This will help tremendously in grooming costs and will be a better trail. The 8 mile trail will avoid swamps and rough terrain which have been very difficult to groom in the past.  This trail goes from Nickle Lake (end of Spruce Road) to August Lake and brings you to the Mattila Shelter.
