Ely Igloo Club Events
Annual Fun Run

Support your trails and have a great chance of winning prizes!

Our club joins with the Babbitt and Tower clubs to put on the Annual Fun Run snowmobile event with Ragnar and friends. This one-day event, typically scheduled for the Saturday before the Super Bowl®, has raised thousands of dollars for our trail system and is usually our #1 fundraiser. The event is open to everyone and benefits snowmobile trails in and around the three communities.

One of the event's attractions is the prize list that includes a top prize of $1,000 and many great door prizes. On the day of the event, participants go to check-in points in Ely, Tower, and Babbitt to pick up bonus tickets and increase their chances of winning prizes.

Registration is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at any of the three Fun Run check-in points. Money raised supports snowmobile trails in Ely, Babbitt and Tower.

Meeting

The club holds its regular monthly meeting the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise posted). The meetings are hosted by our business members and sponsors. Meeting locations are announced in the Ely Echo and the Ely Shopper.

What is a Radar Run?

First Annual Ely Igloo Club Creek Ridge Radar Run

This was a successful event. Thank you to Dave and Diane Vesel for all the work they did to make this happen. I believe top speed was around 117. See you all next year.

Volunteer and Landowner Appreciation Dinner

An annual event to show our appreciation to the individual landowners who continue to make our trail system possible by allowing the trails to be operated across their property, and to the volunteers who donate their time and energy to maintain our trails.
